Restoration of an African American heritage site
Agricola Corporation, working with the Committee to Restore the Abyssinian Meeting House, Inc., researched the history of the state's earliest African American religious edifice (1828) and the ministers, leaders and congregation members who played a key role in the abolition of slavery, educational desegregation and the advancement of civil rights.
